Discovery Key Competency focus : Managing Self. Student Reflection: I am thinking before I do it and thinking what to use.

I am learning to move objects from one position to another position faster and more accurately. To be successful I need to keep my eye on the target and hold onto the object.  

I am learning to show the Oakland CARE values.

I am learning to play a rhythm and use percussion instruments. Student Refection: I think music is fun and my next step is to listen carefully to know when it's my turn

I am learning to say my mihi. My next step is to keep practicing so I don't forget.

I am learning to skip count in 5's backwards in the range 0-100

We are learning to: Make statements about a data display. We can do this when we can: Correctly say one or more things about a display of data on a pictogram. E.g " I notice the most popular eye colour in Room 22 is blue". Student Comment: I notice apples are more popular than banana's and watermelon.
